Socrates said something like, "I know, I know." One can see that there are things that you do not know and are aware of this fact. Some people believe that Socrates was ironic about it. In another sense, we can not have knowledge of something that is not known, in addition to making a statement about the lack of knowledge. And in another sense it is an obvious statement - namely, to replace a word and see what I mean.

Some **** an American politician said something similar.
"The more you learn, just knowing that you know nothing." As in many versions over the centuries. There is a deep and disturbing. It is a philosophical proposition. It's just an observation based on maturities.
The guy said it was likely to go on board and the whims of his wife had nothing to do with it.

I did not "do not know one ..." phrase, you have given.
All I can think of is a quote from Aldous Huxley (born in July 1894 - died in November 1963 (69)

The full quote reads:
"Most of ignorance is ignorance beatable. I do not know because we do not know."

This can be of his literary work "Brave New World, but this number is the result of site as a part of his many quotes. Go to this for more information on Aldous Huxley:
